Sleep in an authentic former grain silo belonging to the Quaker Oats Company. Two types of rooms available

Regular room, 24 foot  round room with private bathroom, king sized bed and balcony. $104.00 per night. Includes full hot breakfast and a free 36" by 8 foot display table at the convention.

Deluxe rooms with twin double beds are $124.00 per night and include the extras of the regular rooms.

We will have a very limited edition American Models Great Lakes Brewing Tank car and PS-2 hoppers available at the convention.

The entire site has a railroad theme with real trains on display outside, a restaurant in a real converted diner car is in the hotel. A quaint shopping area is within walking distance.

Location is next to the CSX main tracks, which run through Akron.  And less than a mile from the southern station of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Lines, which we  riding on one of the days

The hotel has 12,000 square feet of ballroom with a banquet room accommodating 120 people in the old warehouse with open beam ceilings and wood floors with lots of atmosphere. We have three breakout and meeting rooms to work with, and a full hospitality suite for lounging.

Other Local Attractions:

Nearby is Canal Park Stadium, home of the Akron Aeros, a double AA baseball team.

Stan Hwyet Hall, home of Goodyear tire's Siberlein family, is four miles away and open to visitors.

Of course, less than twenty miles away is also the newly renovated
Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
